Summit Sports Training Center in Villanova will host a youth lacrosse fundraiser to benefit LEAPS (Lacrosse Education Attitude Perseverance Success), an organization founded by John Christmas in 2008 to introduce lacrosse to children where lacrosse leagues are non-existent and lacrosse equipment is cost prohibitive. |

The first annual LEAPS MLK Day Fund Raiser will be held on January 19, 2009, at the Starfinder Foundation's Urban Promise Center in Philadelphia's Manayunk neighborhood. Fifth and sixth grade boys lacrosse clubs are invited to participate in a day long round-robin tournament with games beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m. |
